My name is Jacira Normand, I’m a freelancer translator and
Interpreter.

My language pairs are French and English.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; my mother tongue is
Portuguese.

I have experience in translation, interpreting, and subtitling.

My specialty is in the legal field, with training in consecutive
court interpreting and basic knowledge of consecutive or simultaneous
medical interpreting. I have been working as a translator since 2009
as an extra job, without an employment contract, due to my role as a
lawyer's assistant.

I lived in France for 3 years and my second language is French (C1
level - Dalf). During the 3 years, I studied French for 1 year at the
University of Rennes 2, and I am currently studying Law at the
University of Paris 2 - Pantheon-Assas.

My third language is English, and I have a C1-level certificate in
English.

I am committed and faithful to my work, and I respect the deadlines
for the work I undertake in terms of translation.

My fourth language is Spanish (A1 – basic level), I’m still
learning it, however, I’m frequently using this language with my
closest friends.

I’m interested in working with you on this project because I’m
fascinated by translation and interpretation and your project seems to
